Some questions asked by our Zam Trade users (please feel free to ask others in the feedback tab under the 'contact us' page.

Q1. Why does the site not allow me to trade?

A. The possibility is that you either have not logged in - so please create an account and then log in

Q2. Why do I need an account and why do I need to be logged in?

A. You need to create an account and be logged in for security purposes - remember that an account is unique to you; your profile is unique to you; and it needs to be kept secure due to financial transactions that will occur as you buy or sell on this platform;

Q3. Can I share my account with my close friends and/or family members?

A. No - under no circumstances should you share your account details with anyone - this is a basic rule of thumb - your account and profile must be unique to you because of the financial transactions you will have here from time to time - Zam Trader cannot be held accountable for any security breaches arising out of shared user details;

Q4. Can anyone trade on this platform?

A. This platform is open to everyone aged 18 and above - should you be below this age - ask an adult to assist you as participation here has financial implications;

Q5. How are the products I buy shipped to me?

A. Shipping the products will be facilitated by Zam Trader although when buying, the buyer can choose their own preferred method of shipping - remember that shipping charges are to your account and these may be included in the price of the product if the seller so provides, otherwise pay particular attention to any additional costs of shipping the seller adds on separately;

Q6. Can I printout invoices from the system?

A. Yes - you can print out invoices or receipts from the system from your dashboard;

Q7. For how long are my adverts kept on your system?

A. Adverts on the system, until further notice, are kept indefinitely until they are converted into a sale - your dashboard will store this for up to a year before they are either archived or deleted from our systems;

Q8. How do you deal with returns or claims?

A. Returns will be considered under specific reviews between the buyer and seller - acceptable where clear sales instruction does not occur - depending on circumstances, handling costs may apply and the buyer will be responsible for the costs of returns - these costs may be recovered from the refund. Transportation fees and all other handling fees cannot be refunded when these are known - also, to protect the seller, refunds cannot be accepted when notification is not made within 5 days (including weekends).


Q9. Why is there so much rules and regulations here?

A. It is important to have these rules and regulations because this is an entirely online platform and traders, management, service providers and all other stakeholders may not know each other, and nor will they see or meet each other (unless where services are being provided) - as such, to minimize risk, a secure and seamless trading environment is aspired to in order to prevent litigation, spiralling costs, inconvenience and loss - to mention but a few. This platform is provided on the premise of goodwill and ethical interaction among all who choose to work on this platform.
